  • Sign-on Bonus Close

    Experienced RNs hired in Specialty Care Units (ED, ICU, PCU, Maternity, Specialty Float and OR/PACU) are eligible for a $7,500 sign-on bonus paid at time of hire. This requires a two-year work commitment. Experienced RN’s hired in non-specialty units are eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus paid at time of hire. This requires a two-year work commitment. New graduate RNs or RN’s with no acute care experience hired into Specialty and Non-specialty units are eligible for $2500 sign on bonus paid at time of hire. This requires a 2 year work commitment.

  • Relocation Assistance Close

    Samaritan is now offering relocation assistance for new RNs hired in Specialty Care Units. Relocation expenses will be covered up to $2,500 with a two-year work commitment. Receipts are required and relocation would be discussed at the time of offer for those moving to the area. (Military relocation excluded.)

  • Loan Forgiveness Program Close

    New RNs hired in Specialty Care Units will be reimbursed $5,000 for student loans per year for up to four years, paid after the completion of each year of service. Documentation of current student loans is required.

Meet Dr. John Barrett, one of the caregivers at Samaritan Medical Center who helps provide exceptional care to our patients. Dr. Barrett is proud of the outcomes our maternity service delivers to patients in the local area, including military patients from Fort Drum.

Meet Nicole Simmons, a 30-year veteran employee at Samaritan Medical Center. Nicole currently works in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), caring for our hospital’s smallest patients. She has lived in the North Country her whole life, and she is proud to provide high-quality care to her family, friends and neighbors.

Meet Rose Busler, a 20-year veteran caregiver at Samaritan Keep Home skilled nursing facility. Rose is the Director of Recreation Therapy at “Sam Keep” and she loves bringing a smile to her residents’ faces. She treats all residents with dignity, respect and compassion, and strives to make them feel like they are at home.
