Elective Surgeries Postponed on December 23, 2025 Due to Boil Water Advisory

On Tuesday, December 23, 2025 all elective and non-emergent surgical procedures will be cancelled and rescheduled due to the ongoing boil water advisory in the City of Watertown, NY. Patients impacted have been contacted directly.

There are no scheduled surgical cases on December 24 and 25 due to the holiday.

This decision to cancel elective and non-emergent cases allows Samaritan to ensure we have adequate and sterile supplies for any emergency cases.

The hospital remains open and operating as normal as possible during this boil water advisory.
