Physical Therapy
Physical therapy helps individuals regain function through strengthening and re-educating weak muscles, increasing joint motion, and restoring flexibility, coordination and mobility. At Clifton-Fine Hospital, our devoted and experienced Physical Therapists are ready to assist you in all of your recovery needs. Our services are provided to our inpatients, short-term rehabilitation patients and long-term care residents, as well as to outpatients in the community. We offer a minimal wait time before your initial evaluation and flexible times for appointments.
Upon arrival to our Physical Therapy facility, located near the emergency room parking lot at the hospital, you will find a variety of exercise equipment including treadmills, exercise bikes, and a Nu-Step machine. In addition to these, we also offer a variety of treatment modalities including: cervical and lumbar traction, ultrasound, manual therapy, electrical stimulation and Kinesio Taping.
For those outpatients who have finished their therapy but want to maintain their level of fitness and participate in preventative exercises, the Physical Therapy department offers an Independent Exercise Program. We are approved as a Silver and Fit facility and, depending on your insurance coverage, you may be eligible for reimbursement for participation in this program.
