Funds raised through Children's Miracle Network help enhance programs and services and are used to purchase the most advanced life-saving medical equipment needed to care for children. Simply put, funds raised through Children's Miracle Network help change and save the lives of children. Children's Miracle Network (CMN) is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for CMN-affiliated hospitals across North America. Each year 170 CMN hospitals provide the finest medical care, life-saving research and preventative education to help millions of kids overcome diseases and injuries of every kind.
The Samaritan Medical Center Auxiliary is an organization of approximately 250 men and women dedicated to serving the needs of Samaritan Medical Center and the Samaritan Keep Nursing Home. The Auxiliary has proudly served the institutions for 116 years and has been a major contributor of volunteer time and financial resources to the hospital and nursing home. The Auxiliary manages and operates the gift shops at SMC, SKH and the new Samaritan Summit Village, as well as the Starbucks, in the main lobby of the hospital.
The gift shops, Starbucks, exclusive fundraisers and Auxiliary membership dollars contribute to the success of the Auxiliary. Popular events such as 'One Night One Diamond' have been tremendously successful, as well as book sales, uniform sales, and more. In 2010, the Auxiliary pledged $750,000 dollars to the Capital Campaign – Advancing Healthcare - Close to Home, which helped build a new addition to the main hospital. In 2012, the Auxiliary helped purchase a new security system for our littlest patients called 'HUGS' for the new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Maternity Place and Pediatric Unit.

Becoming a member of the Auxiliary is a simple way to become invested in the healthcare in the region. Samaritan Auxiliary membership is easy to do and offers benefits, such as a 10% discount in the gift shop and attendance to the annual meeting in May.
