Samaritan is committed to keeping our Northern New York and Fort Drum community healthy – body and mind. Our Behavioral Health, or Mental Health, services help to fill a growing need in the community, and we are continuing to develop new partnerships and recruit experienced staff to provide diagnosis, treatment and counseling to those in need of Behavioral Health services.
Behavioral Health services at Samaritan includes outpatient psychiatry, intensive outpatient addiction, alcohol and substance abuse treatment, and traditional outpatient addiction services. In addition, we also have a 32-bed inpatient mental health unit within the main hospital. Our Emergency Department has a dedicated mental health area to care for people in emergency situations.
Please use the Samaritan Urgent Mental Health Hotline as well: 315-785-4516 - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
