The Samaritan Foundation’s Grateful Patient/Family and Friends Program

When words just aren’t enough to say “thank you”…

Perhaps it was a smile or a kind word that brought you or your family member comfort…

It could have been a medical treatment or a visit from a volunteer during your hospital stay…

Our patients and their families often tell us how their hearts were touched by the caring staff at Samaritan.

Now you can make a financial donation in honor of the Samaritan doctor, nurse, technician, therapist, dietician, housekeeper, volunteer or other caregiver who made a difference in your visit or stay.

When you contribute to the Samaritan Foundation’s Heart to Heart Program, you recognize and celebrate the excellence of care you or a loved one received, while at the same time your appreciation lives on by helping others receive that same outstanding care.

Donations received through the Heart to Heart program will support an area or program within Samaritan that is important to and impacts the greatest number of patients, employees and community members. Initial funds, for example, will go towards maintaining the planned Healing Garden that will be established on the Samaritan campus as construction and renovations are completed. Future gifts will advance healthcare delivery and patient care, benefit current programs and services, and underwrite the cost of new equipment and technology.

In addition, when you make a donation in honor of your Samaritan doctor, nurse, therapist or other caregiver, that individual will receive a card informing him or her of your thoughtful gift. Your caregiver will also receive a custom-crafted Heart to Heart lapel pin to wear proudly every day.
